This interactive US History Map was created as part of a LAB-Auftrag (independent learning assignment) for my English class. The project visualizes the territorial evolution of the United States from 1783 to 2025, highlighting key historical events along the way.

Data Sources & Attribution

• Historical Boundaries: The map data is sourced from Lincoln Mullen's Historical US Boundaries repository.
• Event Information: Historical event descriptions are sourced from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons license.
• Visualization: Built using D3.js for map rendering and TopoJSON for efficient geographical data handling.
